The Wall Street Journal & W Magazine Press Coverage

The past week has been a phenomenal. The press coverage has been incredibly flattering, as two great publications have decided to feature our work.

The Wall Street Journal Covered  in their article titled, LED Gaga on October 29th. This is what they had to say:

“Despite its funky looking head, Sero is still all about form following function. LEDs need to stay cool to maintain their longevity, so Sero's head is essentially a "pin-fin" heatsink; air flows between the rods, dispersing heat. Everything else about the lamp is reduced to the minimum, from its pencil-thin (though slightly twitchy) neck and relatively small weighted base to the fact that it has no moving parts (except for the dimmer knob). Even its light source is efficiently arranged. Roughly the size of a nickel, LEDs are grouped to shine as one, so they don't cast multiple shadows. $295, cernogroup.com

W Magazine also covered Cerno in their November issue with Nicki Minaj on the cover and Cerno on Page 90.
The featured interview is here:

““It’s important that we’re honest in our materials,” says Nick Sheridan, architect and head designer of the Cerno studio, which he founded two years ago with his childhood friends Bret Englander and Dan Wacholder. It’s a fidelity evident not only in such utilitarian details as the pinlike protrusions on their sleek table lights {which serve to cool the LEDs} but also in the firm’s eco focus: Wood is sustainably harvested, the LEDs last for 50,000 hours and every one of their products is built in their California studio. Perhaps most important, “It’s heirloom design, “ Sheridan says. “You’ll never find our pieces in a land fill- we build something you can pass on to your children when you’re gone.”” Virginia VanZanten

It is always nice to be recognized for the products that we love and create.
